Adventure Travel Reservations and Fundraising Coordinator

Huma Charity Challenge has been established as an exciting new brand to operate adventure charity challenges around the world, to assist charities in reaching their fundraising goals. As a growing part of the business, we are looking to expand our Sydney-based team with the addition of a Travel Reservations and Fundraising Coordinator, with career progression opportunities for the right candidate.

Working within a small team, this administrative role does not involve direct sales. You will be responsible for servicing clients files through the full reservations and fundraising process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reservations of client files
  • Reservation management of charity groups
  • Preparation of confirmation kits and final documents
  • Booking and ticketing flights
  • Managing, coaching and inspiring fundraisers to help them achieve their targets
  • Supporting information night presenters as required
  • Assisting at travel expos/special events
  • Supporting reservations teams in other divisions as workloads require

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Travel industry experience – minimum 1 year,  preferably with adventure travel specialisation
  • A passion for travel and first hand travel experience to some of the World Expeditions destinations – such as Nepal, India, South America, Africa, Asia.
  • Fundraising experience – either professional, volunteer or personal
  • Self sufficiency and enjoyment of working in a small office environment
  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Excellent  organisation skills
  • CRS experience – Amadeus preferable
