We believe the way we travel matters. That's why Responsible Travel principles inform how our journeys are designed and delivered.

Our human-powered adventures encourage travellers to slow down and experience the landscapes, cultures and communities they travel through. Behind every journey are practical commitments, from working with local partners and measuring trip emissions to animal welfare standards, waste reduction and support for locally led community and conservation initiatives.

Nature & Wildlife


Travelling through remote and fragile environments carries responsibility.

We take this into account when designing our active trips, using small group sizes, careful route planning and environmental and wildlife guidelines to help reduce our impact.

We also work with park authorities and conservation partners to support the conservation of ecosystems and wildlife habitats for future generations.

Climate Action

We recognise that travel contributes to climate change.

We measure the estimated emissions associated with our trips and operations and use this information to identify opportunities to reduce emissions through trip design and operational improvements.

Walking and cycling are at the heart of many of our journeys, providing a human-powered way to experience a destination. We also publish estimated carbon emissions for our trips, helping us understand where emissions occur and where reductions can be made.
